Spreadable Espresso

Transforming coffee beans into a luscious spread without adulterating their pure and simple taste, is neither easy nor for the faint of heart. For year we tried, got lost, tried again before settling upon the winning blend of Arabica coffee, cocoa butter, sweetness and cream mixed to perfection in Flat Brew. 


With Flat Brew, we didn’t set out to change when you take your espresso moment, but how you take that moment instead.  For the record, we recommend that you take it by the slice, by the spoonful or, perhaps, even, in a pain au espresso.

Early in his career, Nick worked on Wall Street and at an international consultancy in North America and Europe.  Later he crisscrossed Europe sampling some of the best, and worst, espressos the Continent had to offer, on behalf of an international consumer brand.  As a result, Nick knows a thing or two about early mornings, late nights, and espresso moments – those mini-breaks in the day when we stretch our legs, clear our minds and simply pause.  In fact, it was during one of those moments that he began to play with the idea that you can have your espresso and eat it too.
After studying to be an engineer and a decade in management consulting, Anne’s world became entirely dedicated to chocolate. she founded artisan du chocolat and nutricoa. with the envied title of chief chocolate adventurer, She creates with chocolate. it was in during one of those mad chocolate development that coffee beans ended up in the conche and refiner instead of cocoa beans.
